Water Park FUN!

My sister-n-law invited us to the water park this mornig, it was Karsyn's first time. She was really unsure about it, but never fussed or cried. It was really crowded and she is a people watcher like me. She just enjoyed watching all the kids. We had fun, thanks kimmie, Sarah, and Molly for a fun time.

I can't help but think I have the cutest girl in the world, she is such a happy little girl. I can't wait to have two happy little babies. Maybe I am speaking to soon, my second one might be total opposite. We have been lucky that Karsyn is always very content and hardly ever cries and loves everybody that talks to her, unless she just woke up. She gets that from me.

Loving her Aunt Sarah, She loves her and was happy to be in her arms instead of playing in the water. We love you Sarah!

Unexpected Kisses!

Sugar and spice and everything nice, ribbons and curls because she's a girl.-- Author Unknown

Little girls dance their way into your heart, whirling on the tips of angel wings, scattering gold dust & kisses in our paths.
-- Author Unknown

About a week ago, Karsyn woke up really early, like 4:30 or 5:00 am, I gave her some milk and then she just laid in our bed between me and Adam. Adam was asleep and she just kept stirring and I was in and out of sleep. At one point I opened my eyes and she was just watching me, so I just smiled at her and fell back into a light sleep. I don't know how much longer it was after that but she leaned over and gave me two very sweet little kisses. She is at the age that she knows what kisses are and she knows how to do it, but she usually does it when you ask her and not so much out of the blue like that. I just have to say that that touched my heart in a way I can't explain. Maybe to others it may be no big deal, but for me it was one of the sweetest memories I will have. I love these special kind of moments, they make me feel like being a mom is the greatest thing I can do in life. After the unexpected kisses I just had to hold her and love her and she fell asleep in my arms.

Guess What we get to do???

As a married couple have any of you ever gave yourselves a gift that you have to say it's for Mother's Day, Father's Day, My birthday, His birthday, and of course a graduation gift. Well we just gave ourselves one of those. We are going on a seven Night Mexican Riviera Cruise!!!!! How excited do you think I am?? Well lets just say I can hardly wait for June 1st to arrive.

Our stops include Puerto Vallarta

Mazatlan

And then Cabo San Lucas

The hardest thing will be leaving without Karsyn though, I will have a rough time being gone for that long away from her. She will be left in good hands though. A big thanks to My MOM and SISTER for taking her. We debated about taking her with us, but knew that we wouldn't be able to do some of the outings that we are interested in. I will be taking lots of photos and will post them as soon as we return.

Happy 30th Vanessa!

Happy Birthday Vanessa!!!!!

I am so glad to know this girl. She is one of my dearest best friends. She is super funny and she loves her family and friends so much. I knew the day that we were gonna be such good friends was the day that we showed up wearing the same exact overalls not long after I met her. If I knew how to scan photos I would put it on here, cuz of course I took a picture. Anyways I am so thankful for your friendship Vanessa, I know that you would do absolutely anything for me. I hope that your day is wonderful.

Not one of my favorite pictures of me, I was big a pregnant with Karsyn, but Vanessa looks great and it's the only one I have in my computer of us. Love ya girl!!

Happy Mother's Day!

To my mom & my sister & my sister-n-laws.........Thank You for showing me the ways to motherhood. I couldn't do it without your examples. You truly amaze me in all you do and I look up to all of you as mothers and so much more. I am so thankful to be a mom and I enjoy every second of it, although very challenging and frusterating at times I wouldn't change it for a zillion dollars!

In the Shumway family we were lucky enough to have babies so close together, I don't have a picture with all of the girls, so I thought I would just show some of our babies.

Happy Mother's Day
to all who are mothers or are mothers at heart.

A lttle Catch Up!

Ok OK I may be back, I can't resist it any longer. Well if you look to the side I added a baby ticker, so you all know what that means. Thats why I wasn't feeling up to blogging so much, because I was in the first trimester of no fun. I know some of you already knew, I was keeping it a little on the DL just because I wanted to get past the critical stages. We are so thrilled and excited. Our due date is Halloween!!

I love My Chemical Engineer!!!!
It has been finals the last week and one more tomorrow, we have had to leave Adam to his studies. I will be glad when tomorrow is over. Friday is his big Graduation day. We are so happy this time is finally here. I actually think I am more excited than he is. I am just so proud of him and his huge accomplishment. He has made it through such hard and challenging classes.

I was invited to go to Vegas a couple of weeks ago with a two of my sister-n-laws Sarah and Molly. It was Sarah's birthday and she wanted to get away. So we went for a night and then shopped all the next day and then drove home. It was a real quick trip, but we had a really fun time.

The other night we went to the resturaunt 'The Islands' with Adam's parents and Jan and Papa Shum gave some tomato to Karsyn and she loved it. She loves her fruits and Veggies. Gotta love that.

It was nice to have a little bit of a break from blogging. I still had to check up on some blogs here and there cause I really couldn't stay away. And now that I am feeling better although I feel like a fat guy in a little suit, I can keep my blog up to date. We will keep you posted on any jobs that may come into our future. Who knows where we will go. Of course I am hoping to stay in the valley, that is my wish, but it is my husband who has to enjoy what he is doing.
