Heart Friend Award

HEART FRIENDS
Thanks mom for this BLOG award, that was very thoughtful.
Now I am supposed to pick 8 people now to honor.
UGH NO WAY!
SORRY not gonna do it. I can't do it, there are to many blogs that I enjoy reading and visiting. I can't pick individuals but I will give you hints.
In no particular order......

My Friends from High School

My Friends that used to live in Chicago

My Friends from my ward

My Sister-n-laws

My Cousins

My old Roomies

My old and new neighbors

and last but not least

I would pick my mom and my sister......although they already were picked.

That's Eight

So if you are in this category you win an award from me!
And I was supposed to add this text along with my eight.

"These blogs are exceedingly charming. These kind bloggers aim to find and be friends. They are not interested in self-aggranizement. Our hope is that when ribbons of these prizes are cut, even more friendships are propagated. Please give more attention to these writers. Deliver this award to eight bloggers who must choose eight more and include this cleverly-written text into the body of their award."

Have a great Thursday.

Hey and don't be doing this, we don't want no swine fever.

I stole picture from my mom's blog.

Very funny Mom!

Here is some of our Easter pictures, we had a good one this year. Now that Karsyn is old enough to get into Egg Hunts it was really fun. We've had to do it a couple times at home since Easter. She gets so excited finding egg after egg.

The baskets of goodness!
Some of Karsyn's goodies.

Some of Seth's goodies.

Karsyn eating her goodies.

Egg Hunt at Grampa and Grandma Shumway's.

Egg hunt at Grampa and Grandma Skinner's house.

Seth telling Karsyn not to hog all the eggs..........

Oh well better luck next year!

We had a great Easter and loved spending it with both families.

Growing up in our family we had a tradition.......Strawberry Crepes for your birthday....mmmmmmm!!!!

I was craving some the other night, so guess what we had for dinner......yes dinner......yes strawberry crepes. But we ate them in honor of some April birthdays........

Little Miss Maren Merkley (our niece) had her birthday on the 5th

Miss Sarah Foote (Adam's sister)celebrated her 30th on the 17th.

Elder Dallas Skinner (my brother) celebrated his 22nd birthday yesterday the 20th.

And coming up on the 28th is Mr. Taden Hatch (our nephew)

Happy Birthday to you lovely people, perhaps next time you may get some strawberry crepes.

So this is the reason I don't make spaghetti to often.

Who has the energy to clean this pretty little face up every time we eat it.

And it is a sad thing for Adam because it is his favorite meal.

And now I have two faces to clean up, first attempt at baby foods.
Do you think he liked it??
Nope, he's not a fan.
Not yet anyways, he will change his mind.

It's easy to get caught up in all the festivities and fun, but I just want to say that I am so thankful for our Savior and the atonement. Thanks to my sister's great example/idea of Bunny Monday we celebrate the fun part on Monday. Plus the best thing about it is going shopping that day for the clearance items. It's wonderful. I can't wait.
Enjoy these funny pictures!

Eggsited for the Egg Hunts, I love egg hunts, can we do one for the adults??Remember that fun project that us girls were working on, well we finished it.I know the red berry garland isn't eastery at all--oh well! This has nothing to do with Easter, but last week my mom whipped this fun little costume up in one day for my brother who was going to MORP, I think the theme was something like Fantasy land, his date was Tiger Lilly, doesn't he look so cute. But Seth is a little bit cuter I have to say, haha jk Brody, but no really he is....scroll on down.I couldn't choose just one picture, I was loving it! Can you imagine if his hair was that thick already, that would be amazing, although I would have it cut slightly different.

WhateBBer

Karsyn: "Mom, Mom, Mom, Hold this, hold this" (as she's shoving a book in my face)

Me: "Karsyn I can't right now, I am holding Seth and checking something on the computer"
(Sad, I know, where are my priorities.....I'm working on it)

Karsyn: "Noooo, Read it!"

Me: "O.K. just one second baby I promise"

Karsyn: (sigh and a grunt, as she grabs her book back and squints her eyes and walks away and sais) "WhateBBer......Bye!"

Wow.....Do they really start this that young, she is only 2.....yikes!

It is one of her favorite words right now, what will be next I wonder......she will probably start shortening it to "Whateb"

Pic's and more Pic's

Really Long Post or just lots of pictures
This is Seth's little cousin Rhett, he is a month older than Seth, they are gonna be so fun to watch as they get older. We hung out with them last Monday for FHE, we had fun and uncle Ben introduced us to a game kinda like duck, duck, goose but a slightly different version. I'll explain maybe another day.

This little monkey loves hotsauce aka applesauce. The other morning she wanted some and I told her no not today. She uses her hands to eat this stuff and she makes a huge mess. I didn't have the energy to clean it all up again, so she decided to ignore me and get it herself. I probably gave in because I am such a nice mom. ha
She is a handful, Last week we cleaned out our storage unit and there was a box of cassette tapes, why I still have them I know not. Anyways I went thru them and kept a few. Well she found one that I wanted to keep and this is what she did. Man it only takes 2 seconds to turn your head and you never know what she might do.
Since it was already ruined I let her play in it because, again, I am such a nice mom ;) I was playing around with this little guy and catching some cute pictures of him and thought I would take a picture of what he did to himself...next picture!Uh-oh he is starting this way to young, although these better only stay on HIS arm.
Friday night our ward had a Luau. It was fun and very entertaining. This first couple is in our ward and work with this group of performers and they put it all together. It was great!
The Afro guy was fun to watch, he was very good.
Karsyn loved it and really got into it.This is her getting the Hakka on. On a friends lap. She fell on her face right when we were leaving our house. She has a little red sore on her lip.

On Saturday we started a Easter Project that my mom, sister, and I started while the boys were at priesthood. When we finish it, maybe I will show you what it is.

Every Conference weekend my in-laws have a barbecue in between sessions. I took some pictures on Sunday afternoon, it was such a beautiful day.

My mother-in-law Iris has a knack for planting and growing beautiful flowers. My favorite spot is the walkway to the door. It has rose bush trees along both sides of the walkway, they are just gorgeous when they are all in bloom and they smell really nice.
After we ate we were all doing some relaxing!

Check out that chin, the second one, oh boy.
Griffin, Karsyn, and SageThis is Otis, he is one of the main attractions. He gives rides to 2 year olds.Lincoln was the brave one.My father-n-law loves his birds, he has two big cages under a big tree. It's a pretty cool cage.
I am no bird expert but I think these are
The finchesThese are parakeets?? The teal blue one is my favorite. These ones walk on the ground and I don't know what they are, they look like quail/doves. Remember I said I was no bird expert, I know he has told me, but I am very forgetful.
That be all for now, I am tired!
