Ta-Da......The Results of Sponge Curlers!

This was right before church,

what the heck was I gonna do with it.

I have only dealt with

straight...straight.....straight

HAIR.

I thought that she was gonna have Pretty, loose, spiral curls in her hair.

Actually,

I didn't even think the curlers would stay in her hair overnight.

They didn't last time I tried,

but

Oh my STARS

they stayed this time and

Voila

this is what I got.

A scared little child!

After freaking out a little and some really hard work,

she was still a

Vinyl Lettering

OK, so my friend Coree has a Vinyl business.........Soft Spoken Designs
She can do so many great things with this stuff. Check her out, email her if you are interested in an order. Her email is on the website. I am gonna be ordering some more things in the future for sure. Here is what I just got from her.
I got these jars on clearance at Target awhile back and knew they would be perfect for flour and sugar, but I wanted to label them so Adam wouldn't get them mixed up...haha....jk!
They look great with the Vinyl! I really love this funky font too!

The other thing that I purchased a few weeks ago was this old window from Rustic Hutch. I love old windows and I think they look great with Vinyl on them. So I found a green one and wanted it to be apart of Seths colors for his room.

Here is what I did....

I am still playing around with the top window pane, I don't like the way it is like that. But I love the "Twinkle Twinkle little Star" saying, that is Vinyl!

So if you are interested in ordering some Vinyl go check out this site and see some of Coree's examples. There are also some really cute Kits that can be bought too.

Thanks Coree!!!

Baking, Rolling, Watching, and Sleeping

I helped out with a baby shower yesterday and this is what I made. I have to say the marshmallow pops turned out really cute. The spring colors were just so lovely, I love that word. They were really easy, so if you ever wanna do them It is just a marshmallow, a lollipop stick, some melted white chocolate(or milk chocolate would be good) and then some sprinkles, to make them sparkle. I put them in the fridge for a little while and then wrapped them up with a little tag.

I also drizzled melted white chocolate over the oreos and and chocolate over rice krispies and dipped some rice krispies too and sprinkled them.

Hope you enjoyed it, Jenna!

So theses pictures were actually a couple of weeks ago, but Seth achieved his first roll over.

I know those middle pictures 2-5 look exactly the same, but as I was numbering them in photo shop I didn't realize it until now. Oh well! I was just an excited mommy that got camera happy!

Last Saturday, I got to go back into my childhood for a moment. When we were younger my dad took us to a couple of airshows. I always enjoyed them and thought they were so cool. Well Saturday the Thunderbirds were flying at Luke AFB, so Adam talked my dad into driving down to see them fly. So Adam, my dad, Karsyn and I went, although we didn't get inside to be right underneath everything we sat off the road in a little grassy area and saw the jets pretty good.

I think my dad was in heaven for a little bit, he has a great love for airplanes and jets. And if he could have anything he wanted he would love to be a pilot and fly.

I think that Karsyn has a new love for airplanes and 44oz cherry limeades.

This was another day, but i figured she was dreaming of her favorite shows on NOGGIN, this little girl is obsessed. I do try hard to limit her, but she can name everyone of these shows and talks of them often. So my question to some of those mommy's that have children who watch TV, What are some of your TV rules??

Adam thought he was funny taking this picture of me sleeping, he just thought that it was funny how I could be sleeping with Karsyn sitting on my gut. I am just used to her crawling all over me.

Stay tuned I got some great Vinyl from

Soft Spoken Designs

and you have to see what I did with it,

it will be my next post.

Seize the Moment

Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop to look around once in a while you could miss it.

cousins

It was definitely baby season when these cuties were all born. Karsyn is gonna have so many cousins to play around with. The youngest one of these 5 was Mr Lincoln Daw. He jut turned two and we spent his birthday at the park on Monday night.

One of my favorite pictures! He is such a handsome little boy and so full of fun energy.
Happy Birthday Little Buddy!
Also we are soooooo sad to see little Scarlett, Molly and Joe move away from us. Your family will be soo missed, but we hope that California treats you well and that you enjoy it.

My Boy

This little man is growing soooo fast. Why can't they stay little??
I can't believe that at the end of next week
he is gonna be 5 months old...what...ya~5 months old.
I swear the time is flying by and it scares me.
He is already trying to cut teeth and he eats a ton.
Now that we are past that not so fun colochy stage
he is so happy all the time and has a smile and a giggle
that would melt anyones heart.
We are just so lucky to have him.
He is a special little/big boy.
I love this little outfit....thanks Charlotte!

Not a Fan

AMERICAL IDOLS, Adam, hmmmmm!
Am I the only one that was CREEPED out tonigt by Adam L.'s rendition of Johnny Cashs' song???? Especially by his creepy dancing and his silly moves, ugh...gross! I'm not saying he is a bad singer, he has talent, no question and I wouldn't doubt it if he goes to the end, but seriously, come on! I also think he wants to take on the same look as Jared Leto, who creeps me out too.

It made me feel a little uncomfortable. I agreed with Simon!!
"I think there are a lot of people throwing their television sets out the window at this point," Simon said.

The Chicago River is dyed green each year for the
St. Patrick's Day celebration, shown here in 2008.
Kinda crazy, wonder how quickly it goes back to normal.

Happy St. Patrick's Day

I hope that everyone will find a four leaf clover or a pot'o'gold.

Also you better be wearing your green today!
I'm off to make some GREEN panacakes.....mmmmm!

Let's Clebrate!

This was such a fun weekend! My sister (bless her BIG heart) she took on 17 girls and gave them a SPA experiance that they will never forget. I'm sure they will never have one better. I posted earlier that it was my niece's birthday on Saturday and she got one great party. I was so glad to help out, along with my mom and Shawny (my sorta sister-n-law) and about 3 or 4 other moms. We each took on a station and because I am sooooo wonderful I took on two....haha...I washed 17 heads and painted 170 TOES.....WOW!!!! I think my sister owes me...haha!!This girl was cracking ↑me up, we did not tell her to Meditate, this was her own doing.

And Ya we were on a strict time limit, just kidding, it wasn't that strict.

Teagan got in on the fun! Who is that crazy woman??

By the end of the day I was ready to let loose and get drunk......on chocolate that is. That is also a celebration for my 150th post...yahoo, yeah me!
