IS NOT FUN.....SO HERE IT GOES.
From the last post...most of you caught on that I was expecting baby #3 when I said
"family of 5"
I am due in December on the 29th.
Please come before the new year, Please come before the new year!
We find out next week what the baby will be. I would love to go the whole
9 months and be surprised but I just can't. I have to have a name and
the clothes out and waiting.
At first I wasn't too excited about being pregnant so soon.....Seth and the new one will only be 14 months apart and Karsyn won't be three for just a couple of months. But now I am past the shock and am very excited.
It will be hard, it will be busy, it will be worth it.
Also I mentioned that we were moving in the last post. We are renting a 4 bdrm. house that is perfect for us. It is still in our same neighborhood and same ward that we love.
So at the end of May or beginning of June, don't remember, we had a Shumway family reunion. We had so much fun and made some great memories with the family. It was in Heber at this nice 3 story cabin with plenty of things for children and adults to enjoy. Jungle gym, sand volleyball, zip line, games, and plenty of space. It was so fun and I hope that we do it again next year!

We went to feed the fish at the fish park and then we went to the hatchery. That was fun, I had never been. Karsyn loved it!

Another day we played kickball and some baseball up at the
Heber high school.

This is
Karsyn's cute playhouse in the backyard. It will be so nice when we get passed this summer so that she can play in it all day long. She loves it.

This is my dad and his truck,
Karsyn still talks about Papa coming to see her in his big truck. He was doing a cement poor in our neighborhood so he stopped by for a second to say hi. This takes me back to when I was younger, he used to come home and give us rides or let us sit inside, now his company is pretty strict and they can track and see where he goes, he probably would get in trouble if they knew he stopped by our house.
So for the 4th of July we went camping with the Hatch clan......we only did one night unfortunately Adam had to be back for the paper route and Steph had to be back for church, so next time we gotta do a whole weekend. We went up to young, it was so pretty up there. It's kinda a crappy drive, I think, but once you are there it was worth it.
After setting everything up we pulled out the
smores. Who wouldn't want a
smore with a gigantic marshmallow, even Adam who doesn't eat
smores, ate one.
Something I am jealous of is the head lights that all of
Steph's family has.

The next day we drove clear up the mountain,
umm that was scary. Very small and windy road, plus no
kind of railing. We went up to the ranger station, which was cool but creepy. The wind was really blowing. The ranger
said he stays there for 6 months at a time, minus a few trips to town for supplies. What a boring job though, plus he said his tower gets hit by lightening all the time. Yikes!

If you ever go on my mom's blog she loves taking pictures of clouds. She always has some post about the beauty of clouds and how interesting they can be. Well when we were driving up to Young, these were the clouds above us. They were beautiful. When I had got home, I was telling my mom about them and funny thing she happened to take pictures of clouds like this that very same day. I guess they
could've been the same ones, we weren't that far from home.
Also something very important
happened, I had another birthday. I got my hair done and Adam got me tickets for WICKED, which I loved. Thanks Babe!!
Adam got me this little cake, but he got the numbers wrong, they should be a 2&9 ;)

It never ends, but that's why we love her!
Seth got his first haircut from my mom, it was so time. This kid had so much hair that needed to be chopped. He did pretty good, he is such a wiggler, so we gave him wrapped taffy and let him chew it till the wrapper came off.

Last week I was looking for something in the pantry and realized what I was looking for wasn't even on the shelf, I walked away and Karsyn climbed up to reach something and yells "I got it Mamma" thinking that she found what it was I wanted. I saw that she pulled the baking soda down so I ran towards her and she thought she was in trouble so she hurried to put it back and it dumped all over her face, it wasn't really that much. Poor thing.
Her cousin Bekah was here staying with us and thought it was pretty funny!
We have done so much resting and relaxing this summer, don't be jealous.
Karsyn always takes her naps on the couch, which is irritating, I can't get her to take naps in her room anymore so everyday half way thru the afternoon she konks out on the couch. This is how I found her one afternoon. How uncomfortable!!
But when these two are not napping they are just loving each other. I love that they have been so playful with each other lately. Seth is finally starting to attatch himself to Karsyn and love on her.
And on Saturday we had a new arrival........Meet Sassy our basset hound!!
We still are not sure on the name but it is definitly fitting her.
My brother and sister-n-law are selling them if you want one. They are so cute. They had them all over at our house. It was so sweet to watch them play and interact with each other.
That is all for now, I know what you are thinking....Thank goodness right. Can this post be any longer. The truth is, our computer has been in our kitchen on this dinky table and it was annoying to type or be on it for long periods of time. We have our office/craft room almost set up and completed, so now I will want to keep up on my posts.
